Her obituary appeared in the Winona Daily News on Oct. 10, 1977, p. 9. It lists her parents as Joseph and Katherine Schrier Michaels, and says shw as born in Norwalk, WI. She had moved to Winona in 1911. She married William on June 21, 1910 at LaCrosse. They were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
