WILSON   FAMILY

My Wilson family starts with Nannie K. Wilson. So far, she had been a "mystery" woman.

In the 1900 Cass County Texas census Nannie states that she was born in January of 1881 in Texas and says her parents were also born in Texas.   The 1910 Cass Co., Texas census shows Nannie being born in 1884 in Tennessee and also shows her parents from Tennessee.  In the 1920 census from Hunt County, Texas, Nannie states being born in 1882, and says she and her parents were from Georgia.   From the 1930 census in Lubbock County, Texas Nannie says she was born in 1869 and she and her parents from Tennessee.    If anyone has information on her actual origin and/or date of birth I would be indebted to you.     Nannie and Henry Kirkland married March 11, 1897 in Cass County Texas and had 3 sons. One son, my ancestor, was named James Floyd Kirkland.

"Floyd" Kirkland was born February 4, 1901 in Cass County, Texas and died on April 20, 1981 in Lubbock County, Texas. Floyd married Trudie Matthews on April 1, 1922 at Commerce, in Hunt County, Texas. Trudie was born on July 24, 1903 in Hunt County, Texas and died on September 14, 1994 at Hale Center, in Hale County, Texas. Floyd and Trudie had six children, most of whom are still living.

This is an area of need for me. I've just recently found out Nannie's surname and I'm now hunting her parents.
