   General Notes:

He formerly was in charge of a threshing engine and was also a stationary engineer, but in later years had been engaged in farming. George was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batavia, NY. He had a half-brother named Bert Strickland.

He was ill for a year from a complication of diseases. He had been in the hospital for five weeks before he died at the Batavia Hospital.
