  1. Daniel, who came to Hing. early in the last century, m. first, March 10, 1719-20, Abigail Whiton, dau. of Enoch and Mary (Lincoln) Whiton. She was b. in Hing. Sept. 8, 1697, and d. 3 Sept. 1738, at the age of 41 yrs. He m. secondly, Oct. 9, 1740, Mary Wilder, dau. of John and Rebecca (Doggett) Wilder. She was b. Hing. July 30, 1692, and d. 10 Nov. 1756, at the age of 64 yrs. His third w., whom he m. Dec. 2, 1756, was Elizabeth Day. She d. 12 Oct. 1757, at the age of 43 yrs. For his fourth matrimonial venture, he m. Jan. 12, 1758, Mrs. Lydia, wid. of James Lawson. Daniel d. 22 July, 1776, at the age of 85 yrs. "Cooper." Resided on Leavitt St.
       Ch., all b. in Hing., by w. Abigail, were:----

  2. Elijah (Daniel == Abigail Whiton), b. in Hing. June 24, 1729, m. March 31, 1755, Mehitable Curtis, dau. of William and Margaret (Pratt) Curtis of Han. She was b. at Han. Nove. 1, 1734, and d. in Hing. 1 Nov. 1808, at the age of 74 yrs. He d. 10 Apr. 1796, at the age of 67 yrs. "Cooper, farmer, and inn-holder." Constable 1761. Resided on North, corner (easterly) of Ship St.

  3. Elijah (Elijah == Mehitable Curtis), b. in Hing. May 27, 1760, m. July 14, 1785, Hannah Leavitt, dau. of Joshua and Deborah (Fearing) Leavitt. She was b. in Hing. Apr. 17, 1764, and d. 11 Nov. 1798, at the age of 35 yrs. He d. 20 Oct. 1799, at the age of 39 yrs. "Farmer, inn-holder," and lieut. of a military company. Resided on North, corner (westerly) of Ship St.
       Ch., all b. in Hing., were:----

  4. Isaac (Elijah == Mehitable Curtis), bt. in Hing. Sept. 28, 1766, m. May 17, 1805, Deborah, dau. of Solomon Lincoln of Scit. She d. in Hing. 25 Nov. 1864, at the age of 85 yrs. Isaac d. 9 Nov. 1820, at the age of 54 yrs. "Cooper, and inn-holder." Resided on the paternal homestead, North, corner of Ship St.
       Ch., all b. in Hing., were:----

                   at the age of 68 yrs.
            vii.  George, 1819. Removed to Randolph, and thence to Coh.; was twice m. He had a dau. Marietta.
                   George d. at Coh. 12 Jan. 1858, at the age of 35 yrs.


  5. John (Elijah == Hannah Leavitt), b. in Hing. Oct. 22, 1785, m. Aug. 21, 1806, Susan * Stodder, dau. of Jacob and Molly (Stowell) Stodder. She was b. in Hing. May 16, 1788, and d. 1 Oct. 1844, at the age of 56 yrs. He d. 15 Sept. 1846, at the age of 61 yrs. "Farmer." Resided on North St., also on Ship St.
       Ch., all b. in Hing., were:----

               i.  Elijah, March 7, 1807. "Sail-maker." Resided at Boston, where he d.
                   17 Sept. 1868, at the age of 62 yrs.

       * The town rec's give her birth name, Sukey; Rev. Henry Ware bt. her, Sukey; she was m. as Susan; and her chris. name upon her gravestone in the Hing. cemetery is spelled Susannah.


  6. Isaac (Isaac == Deborah Lincoln), b. in Hing. Aug. 9, 1805, m. May 3, 1828, Eliza Wilder, dau. of Nathaniel and Jane (Marsh) Wilder. She was b. in Hing. March 20, 1804, and d. 28 July, 1884, at the age of 80 yrs. He d. 29 Sept. 1859, at the age of 54 yrs. "Cooper." Resided on Ship St.
       Ch., b. in Hing., were:----

              ii.  Eliza Ann, Aug. 18, 1830, m. March 23, 1851, Henry Hobart.

  7. Daniel (Isaac == Deborah Lincoln), b. in Hing. March 13, 1807, m. Deborah, dau. of George and Fanny Lincoln of Scit. She was b. at Scit. Apr. 9, 1822, and surviving him, m. secondly, Feb. 6, 1870, Jared Stowell, widower. Daniel d. 14 Feb. 1864, at the age of 57 yrs. "Farmer" and "teamster." Resided on the paternal homestead, North, corner of Ship St.
       Ch., b. in Hing., were:----

               i.  Maria Elizabeth, Feb. 4, 1844, m. Apr. 17, 1869, Isaac H. Wilder.
              ii.  Emma F., Oct. 11, 1845, d. unm., 8 July, 1886, at the age of 41 yrs.


  8. John (John == Susan Stodder), b. in Hing. May 4, 1808, m. first, Apr. 6, 1828, Mary Wilder, dau. of Nathaniel and Jane (Marsh) Wilder. She was b. in Hing. June 8, 1808, and d. 4 Dec. 1833, at the age of 25 yrs. He m. secondly, Aug. 14, 1836, Priscilla W. Seymour, dau. of Joel and Polly (Whiting) Seymour. She was b. in Hing. May 3, 1814. "Barrel-cooper." Resides on Water St.

He m. secondly, Nov. 15, 1862, Mary Ann Hersey, dau. of Jeremiah and Rebecca (Lane) Hersey. She d. 27 July, 1881, at the age of 41 yrs. For his third w. he m. Jan 4. 1885, Hannah S. Rich, dau. of Freeman and Elizabeth (Cobb) Rich. She was b. at Truro, Mass., Oct. 30, 1854. "Dealer in boots and shoes." Resides on Ship St.
