  1. Chasling, or Chasline, who settled in Hing. early in the last century, m. first (pub. March, 1717-18), Hester Bate, the youngest dau. of Joseph and Mary (Lincoln) Bate. She was b. in Hing. Sept. 14, 1697, and d. 7 Feb. 1738-39, at the age of 41 yrs. He m. secondly, Nov. 22, 1739, Mrs. Susanna (Tower) Sutton, wid. of Ray Sutton, and dau. of Hezekiah and Elizabeth (Whiton) Tower. She was b. in Hing. Apr. 16, 1707. Chasling was drowned 27 Apr. 1749. Est. appraised 10 May, 1750, at �124 5s. 3d. "Shoemaker." Resided in the sec. pre.
