William Aloysius Cahill - Death Notice

William A. Cahill, the son of Joseph Ambrose Cahill and Maude Lucille (Delaney) Cahill, died at the age of 79 on Wednesday, February 23, 2005. He was a native of Brooklyn, New York. William Aloysius Cahill was a 1955 graduate of Harvard Law School who practiced law in Brooklyn. Bill Cahill was also a farmer of apples at his family's property in Fort Salonga, New York.

Survivors included his wife, Ursula (Langley) Cahill; five daughters, Andrea (Cahill) Chester, Suzanne Cahill, Karen (Cahill) Squire, Mary (Cahill) Behrendt and Virginia Cahill; four sons, William A. Cahill, Jr., Kevin Cahill, Joseph Cahill and Christopher Cahill; eleven grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Caitlin, Liam, David, Ursula, Peter, Jack, Marian, Adam, Jennifer and Christian; and, two great-grandchildren, Kevin III and Alex.

The funeral mass was held on Saturday, February 26, 2005, at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kings Park, NY.
