Carrie Glass was born in Mincy, Taney County, Missouri, on April 26, 1904. Carrie was the mother of Henry LeRoy Glass and Mary Alice Glass (nee Reeder). After a long illness, Carrie Glass died in San Bernardino, California on April 10, 1998 at the age of 93. She was buried at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakhurst, California, on April 16, 1998.

The obituary published in the Sierra Star (Oakhurst, CA), indicated that Carrie Glass was survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Carrie, along with her husband Roy Glass, moved to Oakhurst in 1959 after Roy's retirement from Southern California Edison Company.
