The HerbFarm Pictures of The HerbFarm in Fall City, Washington. |
This is The HerbFarm in 1999. This picture shows the gift shop, wrapped in a Kiwi bush! Visitors to The HerbFarm attended classes, walked the gardens, went on a guided tours, and selected from hundreds of varieties of herbs. The farm closed in late 2000. |
Here my dad, my mom and I are building the first greenhouse for what will become The HerbFarm. The greenhouse covering consisted of two layers of plastic. A fan blew air between the layers to provide an additonal level of insulation. The first herbs for The HerbFarm were grown in this greenhouse. |
My daughter Anne visits The HerbFarm to find my father sitting with a goose beside him! Visitors often spent time with the many animals at The HerbFarm including ducks, geese, guinea hens, a potbellied pig, pigmy goats, doves and llamas. |
We attended The HerbFarm "Boo Ha Ha" in October, 1998. This was a fund-raising event for The HerbFarm restaurant. My brother, Ron, hosted a six course dinner complete with wines. In this picture he is serving my son, Thomas, one of the special wines which are served with each course. The HerbFarm Restaurant is now serving dinner at their new location in Woodinville Washington. To make reservations, visit The HerbFarm on the web. Also, to see an example of an HerbFarm dinner, visit my son's web page. |
