Mary Brock to Zachariah Brock, Real
& Personal Property
This indenture this 22nd Oct 1871
between Mary Brock of the county of Harlan & State of Kentucky of the one part
and Zachariah Brock Jr. of the County & State aforesaid of the other part
witnesseth that the said Mary Brock for inconsideration of he is to raise the
children of John Brock Dec'd, is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and
sold and by their presents, doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Zachariah
Brock Jr. his heirs & assigns all of my interest in John H. Brock deceased
Estate both personal and real my interest in the land and all my property with
the exception one cow and one sow. I give my personal property to the said Brock
forever and my interest to the land until John H. Brock youngest heir comes of
age 21 years old and then to the land equally to the heirs of John H. Brock
dec'd. I do hereby convey everything with all its appurtenances to the
said Zachariah Brock his heirs and assigns forever and the said Mary Brock will
forever defend against the claims of any others whereunto the said Mary Brock
hath set her hand and seal this 22nd day of October 1871.
