Mary Morris was born 09 Sep 1643 in New Haven, CT. (1) She married John Hemingway as is confirmed when "John Hemingway in right of my wife Mary" was one of the administrators of the estate of John Morris in 1711. (2) They probably married about 1699 as she was baptized as an adult on 5 Nov 1699 and their first child was born in May of 1700. (3) When they married she was 27 and her husband, John Hemingway, 25. They had seven children in 15 years with the last child, John Hemingway, being born on 03 Oct 1715. Her husband died in 1737, but she lived another few years, dying on 7 Sep 1743. (4) She was buried in the Old Cemetery in East Haven. (5)
