Description of Enumeration Districts.

All that  part of Wimbledon   beginning at the Finger Post (or Drinking Fountain), by Dr Paynes, Westward by C W Lewis's House along the Ridgeway to the East side of Crofts Cottages, South to the Railway, thence East to the Railway Station, thence Northward to the Devils Gap, West along the Iron Mill Lane by the Hothouse Garden and up the Hill to Dr Paynes.

The whole of this Sub District is within the Local Board of Wimbledon.

All that  part of Wimbledon,  beginning at the Railway Station, to the Iron Bridge over the Railway, South to the house known as Plowman's, thence East to I. Block  Esquire, Merton Grove, then Northward to the Devil's Gap, then West back to the Railway Station.

The whole of this Sub District is within the Local Board of Wimbledon.   It is  not  divided into Wards.

All that  part  South and East  of Wimbledon  beginning at Merton Grove and going East along the Turnpike Road at Merton (in Wimbledon Parish) to Mr Legg's House beyond Merton Bridge Northward up the old Iron Railway by Grove Mead, across at the back of the Plough Inn at Garrett, over the Copper Mill Bridge to the Devil's Gap, thence South to Mr Ducross Merton Grove.

This Sub District is wholly within the Limits of the Wimbledon Local Board.

All that North and East part of Wimbledon,  beginning at the Devil's Gap, over the Copper Mill Bridge at the back of the Plough Inn, thence Northward behind Summers Town and along the West Bank of the Wandle to beyond the Great Viaduct Bridge, and then Westward to Sewells Farm (now Cliffords) and so to the Boundary Post in the Park, and Southwards, Skirting J. A.Beaumont's Esq  at Wimbledon Park and finish at the Devil's Gap.

This Sub District is wholly within the Limits of the Local Board of Wimbledon.
