He was born in Rochester N.Y. and lived in Aurora nearly all his life. He was a moulder by trade.
He is survived by his wife, and three sons, Fred, Edward and George, and four daughters,
Mrs. John Spang, Mrs. August Hopp, Mrs. John Schomer and Miss Dorothy Schiltz. also six brothers, Matthew, George, Peter, Nicholas, Michael and Valentine, all of Aurora. Three sisters Mrs. John Kramer, of Portland Ore.; Mrs. Leonard Moss, of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs./ Valentine Millen, of Aurora and 11 grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning from the late home, 171 Mountain street. and at 9 o'clock from St Joseph's church. Interment will be in St. Joseph cemetery. AURORA BEACON NEWSPAPER

YOUNG MAN DRANK POISON-Frank Schiltz Accidentally Took Wood Alcohol Instead of Medicine and Physicians are Unabel to Save Him. Frank Schiltz, aged 29 years, died yesterday at the home of his father John Schiltz of Mountain St, from the effects of the accidentally swallowing a quantity of wood alcohol. The poisonous drug was mistaken by the unfortunate man for some medicine and the fatal mistake was not discovered until too late to save his life. Deceased was a molder by trade. A longlife resident of Aurora, she was born Oct. 9, 1876 in Aurora.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church, honorary member of the same church, and 3rd Order of St. Francis.
Surviving are her two sons, Ralph and Elmer; one daughter Mrs. Dale Kostka, all of Aurora; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the Corcoran Fundral Home, Wednesday at 9 a.m. to St. Mary's Church at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Charles Kelly will officiate, with interment in St Nicholas Cemetery. Obituary: Nicholas E Schiltz, 60, of 16 South West street, for many uears associated with the Aschuler agency, real estate and insurance firm, died at 11:45 o'clock yesterday morning at Copley hospital. He had been ill for some time.
Mr. Schiltz was born Oct 20,1880, in Aurora, and resided here all of his life.
Surviving him are his widow, Anna; a son, Roland, of Aurora; two daughters, Eleanor of Aurora, and Ethel Bailey of Macomb; three grandchildren; three brothers Matthew, Valentine and Michael, and a sister Mrs. Val Millens, all of Aurora.

He was born in Aurora, Sept. 29, 1882, the son of John and Susan Schiltz., the second youngest of 13 children.
He is survived by hiw widow, Lena and one son, Lee R., of Harvey, Ill., and three grandsons; also one brother, Val Schiltz, and one sister Barbara Millen, of Aurora.
For many years Mr. Schiltz was associated with the Holland Furnace Co. as supervisor of construction work, but of late years operated his won business conducted from his residence.
He was well known in musical circles, playing the trumpet. He played in the orchestra at the old Star theater, was a member of Godard's military band, Yoeman band, Eitelgorge's cornet band, Knuth Brothers'enterprise band and for some time conducted his own band, the Schiltz band. He also was director of the orchestra at the Presbyterian church for a number of years and played in the orchestra at the Evangelical United Brethren church.
Mr. Schiltz was a member of Moose lodge, No. 400, and the Friendly Center club.
Funeral services will be held at Healy chapel, Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. James E Congdon and Dr. Harold W. Teed officating. Interment in Lincoln Highway the chapel.
