He married Julia Ann HARRISON Force Brown in Jackson, Butts County, Ga., 16 APR 1905.(3) Julia evidently lived in Griffin at the time of the marriage but was born in Henry County, Ga. 1 JUL 1887 (birthdate also given as June 11, 1887). She was the daughter of Robert H. HARRISON. Julia died MAY 1978 in Griffin, Spalding County, Ga.
Julia was divorced from Reginald Hiralda FORCE in Upson County, Ga., after 1916. About 1916, Reginald Herraldia abandoned his family. Nothing was heard of him since, though his sons, upon entering a Griffin poolroom as teenagers, were told their father had just left. Jack tried to follow him but was unsuccessful. Family rumor also has alleged that he was working as a chauffeur in Paris, France in the 1920s.
Red gave his father's residence as Griffin (deceased) on his marriage license application.
Reginald Hiralda FORCE and Julia Ann HARRISON Force Brown had the following children:
