land in Granville Co., NC was registered on Nov 7, 1763 for both of these families. With
these two facts in common it would seem they must have traveled together to their new
homes.

named Elizabeth Shearin in the will of her father, as she was already married to William
Shearin. Elizabeth, or Betty, and William had a family of ten children. She was named in the
Account of Estate of Margaret Shearin, who was her daughter and
shown as Elizabeth Glasscock, Admx. She married Peter Glascock in Aug 1803 in Warren
Co., NC.176

1749.159 Alexander was married to six different wives.
He and his wives had two sons. He died about 1820 in South

Colclough. She married John Moseley about 1770. They had a family of seven children.

was born about 1755. He was taxed in 1781 in Warren Co.,
NC.158 He died in 1782 in Fairfax Co.,
VA.198 He died of small pox while on a visit to
cousins in Fairfax Co., VA. He signed a will on 12 Jul 1782 in Loudoun Co.,
