He signed a will on 12 May 1758 in Stafford Co., VA. 158 The Will of John Rogers of Stafford County, was dated May 12, 1758 and proved Jun 11, 1760. Will of John Rogers , Stafford Co., VA WB (Liber O) 12 July 1748-July Court 1767, Pgs 379-80: In the Name of God Amen I John Rogers of County of Stafford being sick but of perfect memory. Do make this my last will & Testament. I give to my Son Grigsby Rogers , two shillings & six pence Sterling: Item I give to my Daughter Mary Colclough two shillings and six pence Sterling to be paid to the said children soon as it can be raised out of my Estate by my Executor. Item I give to my son William Rogers the remainder of my Estate, as also I desire that my Estate be not appraised and lastly I appoint William Rogers my only & sole Executor. 12th May 1758. /s/ John Rogers
