Anna Maria (Hannah) Chance
The Story: When Hannah was living in Putnam, Ontario, she had a dream about a family member being in trouble. The dream was so strong that she insisted that her husband hitch up the team and drove to Woodstock. When they arrived they found that the dream was accurate. What she dreamed is not remembered by the family. Hannah in 1923 was living in Woodstock, Ontario. Anna married John Collens, son of Stephen Nobbs Collens and Mary Ward, on 23 Jan 1868 in Woodstock, Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada.1 (John Collens was born on 9 Jan 1833 in , Norfolk, England,5 died on 25 Mar 1915 in Hamilton, Wentworth Co., Ontario 6 and was buried on 27 Mar 1915 in Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock, Oxford Co., Ontario 4.) |
