Also try US census for your gggfather's county;U.S. Immigration and naturalization records (English) by calling for Form G639. Good luck.

: Trying to get info on great great grandfather whose name was Feng, Lin Jiong from Yue Tian Xiang, He Shan Guangdong, China. He diesd in 1940 in New Orleans La. I did not realize there were so many chinese in Louisiana..does anyone know anything about the chinese in Louisiana? would be really interested in any info you may have.......Startles
