My grandfather was born April 7, 1866 we believe in Taishan (we just called it Canton). His name was Fong Kong Chem. My grandmother was born October 13, 1888 in the same village. Her name was Lim Kee Ho. Her father came to America to work in the mines and died there.
My grandfather had sons who emmigrated to Canada, but we have had no contact with them or those left behind in China.
