I am trying to research my wife's surname MAH - her
ancestor left the village Yong Kow in Soon Tuck (I t
think this is Shunde in Mandarin) in the 1870s. How
does one try to find family genealogies in China? How
can we find the "ancestral house" that I've seen
mentioned in postings? Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
