John Millslagle was born on 3 January 1904 in Illinois.^1,2,3 He was the son of Cordon Findley Milslagle and Angeline Vanorder.^4,5 John, age 5, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1910 Federal Census in Buena Vista, Schuyler County, Illinois.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image. John, age 17, was enumerated in the household of his mother on the 1920 Federal Census at 2175 Lincoln Street in Rushville Township, Schuyler County, Illinois. He does not attend school.⁴ John worked as a teamster working for a coal wagon.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. John, age 26, was enumerated in the household of his mother on the 1930 Federal Census in Buena Vista.⁶ John worked as a section head at the railroad. John died in September 1972.³ He was 68 years old.³ According to the SSDI, his last residence was in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois.³
