James, age 12, was enumerated in the household of his grandmother, Mrs. Phoebe Masks, on the 1920 Federal Census at 212 Paterson Avenue in Rankin, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He attends school. James, age 20, was enumerated in the household of his grandmother, Mrs. Phoebe Masks, on the 1930 Federal Census at 118 Mills Avenue in Braddock, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania. According to the SSDI, his last residence was in Pompano Beach, Broward County, Florida.³
