Mayra (?) was born circa 1836 in Kentucky.¹ Mayra married James Haines.² Mayra and James had at least 5 children. These children are Bertha L., Margaret E., Ulysses G., Ida M. and Arthur G..²
James, age 52, and Mayra, age 44, were enumerated on the 1880 Federal Census in Cotton Hill, Sangamon County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Bertha (age 24), Margaret (age 22), Ulysses (age 16), Ida (age 15), and Arthur (age 8).
