     Florence Berg was born circa 1896 in Illinois.^1,2 She was the daughter of Olaf Berg.¹ Florence married Lawrence A. Millslagle, son of Charles Henry Milslagle and Clara C. Swanson, circa 1918. He was about 20 and she was about 22.^1,3 Florence and Lawrence may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Helen B..
          Lawrence, age 21, and Florence, age 24, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census in Young Hickory, Fulton County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household was Florence's father, Olaf Berg (age 54).¹ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Lawrence, age 32, and Florence, age 35, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at R.R. # 8 in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household was their 9 year-old daughter, Helen. The rent on their dwelling is $12 monthly. They own a radio.           Florence died on 4 March 1942 in Springfield.⁵
