Last Edited=10 May 2004
Jacob Horn was born circa 1803.1
He was the son of Phillip Horn and Maria Catharine Mühlschlägel.1
Jacob, age 65, and Margaret, age 31, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census in Springfield Township, Hampshire County, West Virginia. Also enumerated in this household were Andrew (age 10), Mary (age 9), Sarah (age 7), John (age 9 months). I do not know what the relationship between Margaret and Jacob. Are they husband and wife or are they father and daughter-in-law? Jacob does not appear to own property - those areas are blank on the census.2
Jacob worked as a day laborer.2

Jacob died sometime after 1870.3
He is the grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
