Christian Stamp was born circa 1835 in Germany.1 I suspect that Christian married Catharine (?) based on the fact that they are enumerated together on the 1870 census. But, they could have a difference relationship.2 Christian, age 35, was enumerated in the household of Frances and an unknown person . Also enumerated with him was Catharine Stamp, his suspected wife on the 1870 Federal Census for the Forks of Capon Post Office in Blooming Township, Hampshire County, West Virginia.2 Follow the link to see the census image.
