Mary Mencer was born on 29 September 1831.1
Mary married James Kidwell, son of John Spauling Kidwell and Mary Hiett, on 7 March 1853.1
Mary and James had 6 children but I only know the names of four of them. These children are Delia, Lorenzo, Rebecca and Francis.1
James, age 47, and Mary, age 38, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census in Gore Township, Hampshire County, West Virginia. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Francis (age 23, works as a farm hand), Delia (age 16), Lorenzo (age 15), Rebecca (age 7). Mary is unable to read or write.2

Mary died on 4 September 1899.1
She was 67 years old.
