I'm trying to trace my great great grandparents, Thomas Hale and wife Rebecca Goodin. I know for a fact that they lived in Adair County KY for the birth of five of their children. This has been confirmed by birth records. I have the date of death for Rebecca Goodin as May 8, 1877, but do not know the place or cause of death. Would like to know the date of death for Thomas Hale. His year of birth was 1815. State unknown. I'm guessing Tennessee or North Carolina. Would like to hear from anyone regarding the above.

My grandfather, Auldise S Hale, born a little before or after 1860. Think mother may have been Mary (Hart or Hoyt). He had a sister named Cora who died young, and most of the family was a victom of an epidemic, probably Small Pox, or Diptheria. He left home as a teenager, possibly 14, and later married my grandmother, Susan Morris from Lewis Co. WVA. I know nothing about his father, but know the mother did live around Maryville Mo. at one time.

I'm trying to trace my great-great grandparents. Thomas Hale, born 1815 -- where is unknown -- some say in NC orthers say VA. He married Rebecca Goodin between 1846-1850. Rebecca Goodin was born in 1825 in Hawkins County, TN. I now for fact that they lived in the following counties of Kentucky: Adair, Larue, Grayson, Hardin and Breckinridge. Their first four children were born in Adair County and their last child, my great-grandfather, was born in Breckinridge County. I would appreciate any assistance in tracking down my great-great grandparents.

Looking for information on my great great grandfather. Some say he was born 1805 others say 1815. I tend to go with the 1815 year because of census data - - Adair County, KY 1850 census shows his age as 35 -- Adair County, KY 1860 census shows his age as 45. FRANK HALE married CLARA MAE ROAN. I have no idea of birth or death dates. I don't know where he was born, but I believe her to be born in Alabama. They had two children BOBBIE GENE HALE and DELMAR LEE HALE. BOBBIE was born in Dekalb Co. Alabama Nov. 2, 1933. He died in New Iberia, Louisiana July 1, 1987. He is buried in Patouville Cemetery in Patouville, Louisiana. He married ALICE ANN JEANETTE DAVIS. They had three children, DEBRA ANNETTE (me), BETTY ANNE (deceased) and JAMES SIDNEY. All living in Louisiana. DELMAR was born in Alabama. About late 1920 or early 1930. He married PHYLISS REDDING in 1950s or 1960 (maybe). They had one son BUD HALE. I think that is a nick name. In the 1970s he married PASTIE. No children. He died in New Iberia in the late 1980 or early 1990. He's buried in the same cemetery. My family name is Hales, and I can trace my ancestry back to John Hails(Hales) born about 1750 and died 1801 in King George County, Virginia. His son was Benjamin Hales, his son Benjamin Hales, his son George Washington Hales, his son Daniel Benjamin Hale(dropped the s), his son Cecil G. Hale, and his son me, John Hale. I am trying to trace my family prior to John Hales(abt 1750-1801)in King George County or counties of the Northern Neck prior to the formation of current King George County in 1727.
