BERTHA I. BAUTER
Bertha I. Bauter, 96, County Route 13, died Saturday at River Hospital, Alexandria Bay, where she had been a patient since Aug. 29.
Mrs. Bauter was a homemaker. Born June 24, 1911, in the town of Orleans, daughter of Zion and Carrie Van Brocklin Fitchette, she attended LaFargeville High School and worked on her family's farm.
She married Roland "Ike" Bauter on April 19, 1933. Mr. Bauter, a farmer, died Dec. 12, 1970.
