Mrs. Aden Clarke, El Centro, Calif., died Aug. 12, in a Riverside hospital. Last rites were held Aug. 12 in Riverside where burial was made.
The daughter of Alva and Mabel Curtis Van Horn, Winifred was born March 10, 1899, in Milton. She was married to Aden Clarke in Milton but they have resided in California most of the time since.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Maurice Aden; one grandson; two brothers, Maurice Van Horn of Avalon and Willis Van Horn of Appleton; and two sisters, Chloe (Mrs. Paul Hemphill of Eugene, Ore.), and Josephine (Mrs. Stanley Matthews of Bay City, Mich.)
