Milton - Mrs. Clarence (Vera) McWilliam, age 73, of 313 E. High St., died Thurs., Sept. 7, 1989 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1915 in Nortonville, KS, the daughter of Herman and Lenna Bond Babcock. She came to Milton at the age of 15. She married Clarence McWilliam Oct. 4, 1935; they lived their entire life in the Milton area. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Nortonville, KS.
She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Larry (Karen) of Bluffton, IN, and Norman (Sharon) of Milton; 2 daughters, Lois (Phil) Watson and Janice (David) Schumacher, both of Milton; 2 brothers, Paul Babcock of Seattle, WA, and Osmond Babcock of Nortonville, KS; 4 sisters: Zella Babcock, Ruby August and June Johnson all of Nortonville, KS, and Evelyn Weber of Ashville, NC; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mon. at the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Mon. at the church until time of services. Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, is handling the arrangements.

Clarence D. McWilliam, 80, of 818 Sussex Drive, Janesville, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, at Mercy Hospital.
He was born May 4, 1913, in Milton, the son of John and Myrtle (Gray) McWilliam. He farmed in the Milton Area. Clarence was married to Vera Babcock on Oct. 3, 1935; she died in Sept. 1989. On Sept. 20, 1991, he married Rubie Breitkrutz. He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rubie; two sons, Larry (Karen) McWilliam of Indiana and Norman (Sharon) McWilliam of Milton;two daughters, Lois (Phil) Watson and Janice (Dave) Schumacher,both of Milton; four sisters: Betty (Roy) Harris of Texas, Joyce (George) Stillman of Texas, Jean (Vincent) Burtness of Orfordville, and Elmina Craw of Shopiere; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 18, at the Seventh DayBaptist Church in Milton. Burial was in Milton Lawns MemorialPark. A memorial has been established in his name. TheAlbrecht Funeral Home in Milton handled arrangements.
