Mrs. Mabel Odenwalder, 83, formerly of Milton, died Sunday morning, Sept. 16, in St. Elizabeth Home in Janesville.
Born April 9, 1901, in Milton Township, the former Mabel Burdick married Theodore Odenwalder Oct. 19, 1921, in Janesville. He died Dec. 11, 1976. She lived in the area her entire life.
Surviving are two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Wilbur Munson of Mesa, Ariz.
Services were held Wednesday in the Albrecht Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville. Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Home.

Theodore Odenwalder, 82, of Parkview Terrace Apts., lifelong Milton area resident, died Saturday, Dec. 11, at Mercy Hospital following a long illness.
He was born Feb. 1, 1894 in Milton Township, the son of Leonard and Barbara Sachs Odenwalder, and married the former Mabel Burdick Oct. 19, 1921 in Janesville.
He farmed in the Milton area from 1921 to 1943 at which time he moved to town and worked at the Badgerland Co-op. From 1960 to 1963 he was employed at Albrecht Furniture.
He is survived by his wife; one grandson, John Gallmann, Ft. Sheridan, Ill., and one granddaughter, Carol Davidson, Janesville.
A daughter, Margaret Gallmann, predeceased him in 1955.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 13, at Albrecht Funeral Home with Rev. George Carlson, pastor of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was held in Milton Lawns Cemetery, Janesville.
