Peleg Arnold, son of Joseph Arnold, was born February 15, 1749, and died in 1839 at the venerable age of ninety years. He made his home at North Kingston, not far to the southwest of Allentown, R. I., where he was engaged in farming during his entire life and where he eventually died. He married, April 26, 1778, Margaret Slocum.
