  Hazel Lorraine Kopke, 81, of Edgerton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at her home with her loving family by her side.   She was born on Sept. 4, 1929, in Edgerton, daughter of the late LeRoy and Florence (Wille) Babcock.   She was united in marriage on Jan. 30, 1948, in Janesville, to Marvin Kopke.   He preceded her in death on May 7, 1994.   She was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Edgerton.
  Hazel enjoyed fishing, her flowers, watching birds, cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting and caring for her neighbor lady's.   Her special love was spending time with her family.
  She is survived by two daughters, Terri (David) Vaade of Albion and Eunice Kopke of Milwaukee; one son, Marv (Cindy) Kopke of Milton; six grandchildren: Becky, Brad, David Jr., Kimberly, Amy and Chad; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters: Vera Schmeling of Busseyville, Jeanne (Karl) Thom of Janesville, and Marian Simmons of Arizona; and one brother, Willard Babcock of Janesville/Edgerton.
  In addition to her husband, Marvin, and her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters: Florence, Madeline, Violet, Kay and Leona.
  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at the Ehlert Funeral Home (US Hwy. 51 S.), Edgerton, with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.   Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery.   Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
