Project Overview
The GRINDLE surname project began in November, 2010. It is one of over 6,355 Surname Projects presently underway at Family Tree DNA. The purpose of the GRINDLE Surname DNA project is to find where relationships may exist between various family lines, thus expanding genealogical research through DNA testing.

To determine the countries of origin of all these immigrants. Therefore all males
who have the GRINDLE surname, or any variation thereof, are invited to join the project

A particular focus is that of three men who served in the Revolutionary War in Pennsylvania. They were John GRINDLE, Jacob GRINDLE, and Henry GRINDLE.
