William Kelly

Ellen HANRAHAN was born in 1845 in Liswan, Co Clare, Ireland. Her parents were John Hanrahan and Anne Slattery.1,2 She immigrated to Melbourne, Victoria from Ireland on 8 June 1863 aged 18.2,3 On the sailing ship "Bates Family". Ellen married William KELLY on 30 November 1867 when he was 30 and she was 22 in Ballarat, Victoria.4 She appeared on the electoral roll in 1903 aged 58 in Drummanure, Victoria .5 She died aged 78 on 7 May 1923 in Numurkah, Victoria.6
