Registered on written notice of the information office for warrior losses of the Waffen SS Bamberg.¹ He was buried on 20 September 1944 at Deutscher Soldatenfriedhof Ysselsteyn, Ysselsteyn, Limburg, Niederlande.²

     Heinrich August Marcus Landschof was born on 27 July 1853 at Dahme, Holstein. He was the son of Hans Friedrich Landschof and Margaretha Katherina Plambeck. Heinrich August Marcus Landschof married Caroline Josephine Henriette Kühl, daughter of Claus Kühl and Else Maria Suhl, on 19 February 1892 at Hamburg. Heinrich August Marcus Landschof died on 23 November 1930 at Hamburg at age 77.¹
