    From Paducah Sun obituary Edith Barnes Fiser Wells of Danville passed away at 6:40 a.m. Dec. 20, 2003, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton, Ill. She was born the daughter of Birdie Marvin and Ida Flowers Barnes on Dec. 6, 1918, in Holladay, Tenn. She married the late Everett Fiser and made her home in Paducah for many years. He precedes her in death. On Oct. 2, 1993, Edith married Otis Wells in Danville at the Ridgeview Baptist Church. He survives. She was active in numerous community projects and services during the years she lived in Paducah and leaves behind many cherished friends. Edith was a loving and giving Christian lady and will be deeply loved and missed by family and friends. A celebration of life for Edith Barnes Fiser Wells will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Danville. Pastor Dave Garver will officiate. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at the funeral home. Sunset Funeral Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Ridgeview Baptist Church in Edith's name.
