| Mishpaha is Hebrew for 'Family', its meant here in its larger context to reference the bond of a close community of friends. More specifically a community of family and friends that got torn apart some years ago. There is this special bond that happens over time...of going through something that stays with you, having a connection that is never forgotten, respect, love, and caring! When that's torn apart, a person can withdraw, go into denial. It can leave bitterness, pain, resentment, scars and a myriad of problems that can fester in ones life for years. Sometimes un-noticed on the outside. These aren't good for the body or the soul....or for that matter, a healthy life and lifestyle at times. There was a time, many years back when a bit of this happened in my life. I felt alone, abandoned, discarded. I was ripped away from a close knit community and it caused a chain reaction of events in my life and the life of my family. Today, because of communication, I've gotten back in contact with some of those in that community of friends again. I've watched lives improve and healing occur, and they didn't even think they had a need. That is why I started this website and the Yahoo group area as well. If you were part of that community then this area was created because I haven't forgotten you. And I never will. Please click Details for more information.
