205. John Hoxsie was born on 28 May 1752 in Richmond, Washington, Rhode Island Colony. He died about 1833 in Richmond, Washington, Rhode Island. Son of Stephen Hoxsie and Elizabeth (Kenyon) Hoxsie. John was a farmer. He built a house on the farm that his father left him in 1784. It was occupied by Abial Kenyon in 1888.

John Hoxsie and Bridget Tripp were married on 14 Feb 1779 in Richmond, Washington, Rhode Island. Bridget Tripp (daughter of Peragrine Tripp and Susannah Sherman) died Y. John Hoxsie and Bridget Tripp had the following children:
