Blackcastle p 122 states Robert Mackay designed Tutor of Farr who had sasine on the Lands of Alderbrake, Rynie and others, dated 25th November 1730 and had issue.
Blackcastle, p 140 states: "Robert Mackay of Islandhanda designed Tutor of Farr. He was so designed from his having been served nearest of kin, and appointed Tutor by the Court of Session, to his brother Donald's children 12th April 1723. He had sasine on the Lands of Alderbreck, Rhynnie and others in the County of Sutherland, dated 25th November 1730."
