KILLYLEA
----------
Killylea is handsomely situated on the side of a hill, 5 miles west of Armagh by road, and 4.5 by rail. The station is half a mile distant. A good farming country surrounding the village, makes it the centre for a first-rate fair, held on the last friday of each month. Oats and potatoes are the principal crops. Nearly all the farmers make butter and send it to the market in rolls. Killylea is a district parish, formed out of the parishes of Armagh, Tynan, and Derrynoose, under a special Act of Parliament in the reign of George 4th. . . . .
