6. Nathan LYNN Sr 1, 2, 3, 4 (Andrew ) was born in 1736 in NJ. He died 5 on 9 May 1781 in Ft McAfee, 6 miles north of Harrodsburg, KY.
Nathan and Hannah Lynn resided on a farm of 336 acres in Redstone, Fayette county Pennsylvania until December 28, 1778 when they sold the property and with several other families moved to near Harrodsburg Kentucky. This area of Kentucky was very dangerous at that time and the few settlers in the area were under constant Indian attack, Nathan Lynn was killed by the Indians as he defended Fort McAfee. Nathan Lynn's date of death was recorded in a Bible owned by a descendent . This Bible was printed in 1829 and the genealogical data from it was copied in 1935 by Robert Lynn.
Nathan married Hannah HYNES 1, 2. Hannah was born about 1745. She died in Nov 1795 in Bourbon Co, KY.
Hannah Hynes Lynn re-married in Lincoln county Kentucky on February 7, 1783 to Ozias Welch. She died in 1795 in Bourbon county Kentucky. Her parents were Thomas Hynes and Hannah ( Surname unknown).

He died about 1806 in Campbell Co, KY. Nathan married Elizabeth COMPTON 1 on 5 Mar 1798 in Campbell Co, KY. 11 F iii Hannah LYNN 1 was born about 1768 in Redstone, Fayette, PA. She died after 1816 in St. Charles Co, MO. Hannah married James CLEAVER 1 on 20 Dec 1789 in Nelson Co, KY. 12 M iv Daniel LYNN 1, 2 was born about 1772 in Redstone, Fayette, PA. He died on 8 Jan 1850 in Dearborn Co, IN. Daniel married Elizabeth HUME 1, 2 in Sep 1796 in Harrison Co, KY. 13 F v Charity LYNN 1 was born about 1774 in Redstone, Fayette, PA. She died after 1807. Charity married Thomas SPENCER 1 on 16 Oct 1792 in Bourbon Co, KY. + 14 M vi William T LYNN 15 F vii Elizabeth LYNN 1 was born in 1781 in KY. She died after 1807.
