Note   The fact that there were 2 sisters and Francis married both of them is from Harry and Marsha WIlliams. They show no death date for Rebecca but have her as the mother of John. THen they show catherine as dying about the time Francis dies.

Death 1751  Thomas Edwards died in 1751 at Lunenburg County, VA.1 
Note   Although he cannot prove it, Fidler is "reasonably certain" that Thomas was an ex-indentured servant who had served his 7 years indentureship on a plantation owned by Robert Hancock Jr on Skin Quarter Creek, a north tributary of the Appomattox River in Henrico Co VA. The crown had awarded this 500 acre plantation to Hancock in 1715, and the patent for same identified a Thomas Edwards among three indentured servants whose headrights had been earned by the grantee for paying their transport fares from England. If he worked for 7 years from 1715, he'd have completed indenture in 1722. He bought first tract of land in 1734, so he evidenlty had to work on his own for 12 years to save up the money to buy it.1 
Emigration 1715  He emigrated in 1715 from Wales.1

I, William Moore of Lunenburg County, being at present of a sound mind, and considering the uncertainty of life

First, my executors to pay off and settle all my just debts, as soon as the nature of my estate will admit of.

To my wife Lu_key Moore - during her natural life, Moses, Peter, Fanny, and Maryann, with all their increase, with a bay mare, Poll, the saddle and bridle, bed and furniture, 3 cows, the use of the plantation whereon I now live, with the cart and steers, all the household and kitchen furniture, a proportion of the hogs and sheep, the stock to be the best of her choosing.

To my son James Moore - Winny, Edmund, and Sarah, with their future increase, and the tract of land he now lives upon.

To my daughter Lucy Stegall (Steagall) - Pegg, Nanny, and Winny, with their future increase. Also, David, during her natural life, and at her death to be the property of her son, William Aldin Steagall.

To my daughter Elizabeth Dinton - during her life, Judy, Bracy, and Vinny, with their increase. If she has a lawful heir, I give these Negroes to such heir forever.

To my son William Moore - Ben, Lucy, Becky and Wyatt, with the increase, a cow and a calf, a bed and furniture. If he should have no lawful heirs, the above to return to the estate.

To my son Zacharias - Peter, George, and Fanny, and their increase, with the plantation on which I now live at his mother's death, a colt now called his, a cow and calf, a bed and furniture. If he has no lawful heirs, the negroes and plantation should return to my estate.

To my daughter Lu_ky - Moses, Maryann, Polly and Arthur, with their future increase, the filly Fan, a cow and calf, a bed and furniture. But if she has no lawful heir of her body, the negroes to return to my estate.

The rest of my property, excepting a boy Randolph, should remain to be sold for the payment of my just debts, and what remains to be equally divided between my wife and children in the manner above described. If there is not enough from the property, Randolph to be sold and then the balance divided as above. At the death of my wife, Luky Moore, the property lent to her should be equally divided among my aforementioned children.

At F Court of Dec 1, 1806, this will of William Moore deceased, was proved by the oath of witnesses.
