This Graf family lived in Burnett Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin, in 1880. In 1900 they were in Lyra Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota. With them in Minnesota were William's brother Herman Graf and their father John Graf, both of whom had been in Dodge county, Wisconsin in 1880. Emilie, widowed, and her children were found in census records in Garfield County, Oklahoma in 1910, 1920 and 1930.

    Described in his WWI Draft Registration as medium height and build, gray eyes, dark brown hair
    - was a farmer in Logan Township, Garfield County, Oklahoma
    - married 30 Jun 1907, at Malcolm, Lancaster County, Nebraska to
    Louise M. Burdorf, born 21 May 1887 in Nebraska, died 6 June 1967, Garfield County, Oklahoma.
    Children:
    • Edna G. Graf, born 11 April 1908 in Oklahoma
      - died 29 September 1997, residing in Red Bud, Illinois
      - married 22 Oct 1930 in Lahoma, Garfield, Oklahoma,to
      Walter A. Lobitz, born 4 April 1904 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, (son of August Lobitz and Katie Geissler)
      - died 17 Mar 1993, residing in Red Bud, Illinois

    John Johnson, born 15 January 1885, in Illinois
    - died 19 March 1967, buried in Garfield County, Oklahoma, Zion Lutheran Cemetery
    They adopted a daughter Esther, born about 1903; a baby daughter was born to them, but she died when only 16 months old. According to the 1930 census, they also adopted three more children, William, Vernon and Alice.

  4. William Albert Graf, born 21 June 1884 in Wisconsin, died January 1965
    In his WWI Draft Registration he is described as medium height and build, brown eyes, light hair
    - was a farmer in Logan Township, Garfield County, Oklahoma
    In the 1930 census he was single, head of household with his mother Emilie and sisters Hulda and Josephine.

  5. Frank Charles Graf, born 16 April 1886 in Wisconsin
    His WWI draft registration describes him as medium height and build, grey eyes, dark brown hair
    - was a farmer in Logan Township, Garfield County, Oklahoma
    - died 29 April 1966, having lived in Enid, Garfield County, Oklahoma
    - married 18 September 1910, Lahoma, Garfield, Oklahoma,
    Lydia Mary Boettcher, born 10 March 1886 in Minnesota, died 8 December 1977
    • Daughter: Adeline A. Graf, born 4 November 1916 in Oklahoma

  6. Martin John Fred Graf, born 11 November 1888 in Burnett, Dodge, Wisconsin.

  7. Josephine Graf, born 19 March 1892 in Wisconsin
    - died February 1970 while residing in Lahoma, Garfield County, Oklahoma.
    In the 1930 census, Josephine was single, living with her mother Emilie, brother William and sister Hulda in Garfield County, Oklahoma.
In 1910 there were two foster children living with Emilie.
