Notes:

For the schooner operating on Lake Ontario, seems to have been known generally as Moir, and was subsequently renamed Charwell / Cherwell, where an alternative spelling existed, as shown. Known, I believe, these days as Charwell, presumably per the BBC ? but in the days when this vessel existed was more commonly known as Cherwell, which fits in nicely with the local Berkshire accent ;-) Can't imagine how us as used to speak that way could say Charwell without a toffee in our mouths....if you know what I mean !! Tut tut, must forget that class thing ;-)
