14 May 1801 arrived Plymouth Sound a victualling brig with stores for the squadron in Cawsand Bay.

2 Jun 1801 departed Plymouth Sound the Leicester victualler and six other victuallers with fresh stock and vegetables for the fleet.

22 Oct 1801 orders came down this day to Plymouth to the Victualling Office, to discontinue sending any more bullocks to the fleet off Brest.

6 Nov 1801 orders came down this day to the Agent Victualler, to complete twelve sail of the line in Torbay, to a four months establishment.

11 Nov 1801 by the vigilant attention of the Board of Admiralty, and Admiral Lord Gardner. Commander in Chief at Cork, an agent victualler, with a supply of bullocks and other necessaries was at Beerhaven, ready for the service of the squadron.

20 Nov 1801 by letters received Plymouth from Bantry Bay, it appears, that indefatigable Officer, J. Dunsterville, Esq. Agent Victualler at Cork, had like to have been lost in going round from Cork to Bantry to superintend the victualling of Admiral Mitchell's fleet, by order of Admiral Lord Gardner. He was in a Cork hawker, which shipped a sea, and had nearly been swamped, but by hailing her and being a good sea-boat, he righted, and he arrived safe at Beerhaven.

5 Apr 1802 the artificers of the Plymouth dock-yard were put on single days, and orders came to the Plymouth Victualling Office this day, to bake no more biscuit after the stock of flour in hand has been exhausted.

8 Jun 1802 following the recent incendiary attack, which caused such a dreadful fire at Woolwich Warren, and so much damage, the Admiralty has ordered that in future only visitors on business were to be admitted to HM Dockyards in future, the same ruling also being applicable to premises occupied by the Victualling Board / Office &c. Similarly ship's boats were only to use the appropriate steps in the future.

8 Jun 1802 orders have been issued to the Victualling Office at Plymouth to discharge supernumerary coopers and labourers both here and in the South Down Brewery. And judging from the fact that a similar order was also reported to have been received at Cork I suspect that this was a general order and applicable to all Victualling Offices.

3 Jun 1802 orders received at Plymouth from the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty not to permit strangers of any description to visit the Victualling Office or Dock Yard, nor any boat to land at the Victualling Office, even from men of war. This order is in consequence of the late dreadful fire at Woolwich Warren.

Circa 21 Nov 1802 R. Shivers, Esq. of Weovil cooperage, [Gosport,] to be storekeeper to the Victualling Office, at Chatham.

29 Nov 1802 pursuant to orders from the Victualling Board, the Labourers at the Victualling Office here, and South Down Brewery, at Plymouth, are to have their wages raised from 1s. 4d. to 2s. Per diem.
