Oct 1809 the island of Ithaca surrendered, without opposition, to a combined naval and military force from the Philomel.

31 Oct 1809 ship's boats of a part of the Mediterranean fleet attack and destroy or capture the remains of the convoy anchored in the bay of Rosas, under the protection of Fort-Trinidad.

[Since Philomel was supposed to have been in both places during October, which although not impossible, and details of the boat's crews weren't detailed, one wonders if there may be an error or typo in the London Gazette? The proof of the pudding is probably in the ship's logs !]

26 Jul 1810 Repulse repulses an intention by ships of the French fleet to molest the sloop Philomel, whilst with the Mediterranean fleet off Toulon.

Falmouth 13 Jan 1811 arrived from a cruise.

10-12 Aug 1812 Minstrel and Philomel, off the port of Biendom : action ashore by the crew of the ship's boat of the former.

Gibraltar 18 Jun 1813 Remains.

Plymouth 28 Jan 1815 Returned, driven in by contrary winds.

Trincomalee 20 Mar 1816 Reported to be at Madras. Had been aground in the Hoogly.

Trincomalee 29 Jun 1816 Reported to be at Bombay.
