12 May 1826 departed Falmouth with mail for Lisbon.

26 Sep 1826 departed Spithead, for the Mediterranean.

6 Jan 1827 Employed in the Mediterranean.

12 May 1827 Employed protecting British trade in the Archipelago, at Alexandria, and around the coasts of Syria and Caramania.

1827 the diplomatic and political situation which led the Battle of Navarin.

14 Oct 1827 state of the Allied Fleet off the Bay of Navarin and the numbers of Turkish vessels present. See also p. 256-> at www.archive.org/details/royalnavyhistory06clow.

20 Oct the Allied Fleet entered the Bay of Navarin and anchored opposite their Turkish equivalents, and shortly afterwards, following some sporadic firing, the battle became general. Numbers of allied personnel killed and wounded at the Battle of Navarin (a.k.a. Navarino), and the names of British Officers killed and wounded. Medals granted to all surviving Officers, seamen and marines (and soldiers who served as marines) per order of 7th June, 1848. � Prize Money see Sep 1834.

20 Nov 1831 the squadron under the command of Sir Henry Hotham, consisting of the St. Vincent, Ganges, Alfred, and Philomel, were cruising off Sicily.

28 Jan 1832 arrived at Gibraltar from Cadiz.

18 Apr 1832 remained at Gibraltar when the Mastiff departed for England.

18 May 1832 refitting in the Bay of Gibraltar.

13 Jul 1832 arrived Gibraltar from Tangiers.

Early Aug 1832 at Gibraltar when the packet Alban called for mail, en route from Constantinople, Malta and England.

4 Oct 1832 arrived Gibraltar from Cadiz.

21 Nov 1832 was at Gibraltar where she detained 3 Dutch vessels.

4 Dec 1832 arrived Gibraltar from a cruise.

5 Dec 1832 cruising off Gibraltar and had reportedly, per the St. Vincent, detained 5 or 6 Dutch vessels, and sent them into Gibraltar.

17 Apr 1833 arrived Gibraltar from Malaga.

8 Aug 1833 departed Gibraltar.

31 Aug 1833 arrived at Sheerness.

14 Sep 1833 Paid off.

Portsmouth 23 Nov 1833 sold out of the service for �690.
