Cemetery Property Waiver
Waiver on the Jefferson farm cemetery property where Col. Thomas J. Jefferson and his second wife, Nancy Ann (nee: WATSON) {PATTEN} Jefferson and other members of the family and friends are buried. --------------- "WHEREAS, on this day Robert B. JEFFERSON and Thomas B. JEFFERSON sold their home place to J. C. FLOYD and , WHEREAS, it is understood that they have two kinsmen buried on said land and desire to remove said bodies or to fence said graves for the purpose of protecting same from molestation. It is hereby understood by me that the said Robert B. and Thomas B. JEFFERSON have the right to enter upon said land for the purpose of removing said bodies and in the event they do not remove them they are to have the right to fence ten feet square around said graves for the protection thereof.
