The above Bible published in 1836, was in the possession of Miss Jane McClung of
Madisonville, Tennessee, at the time of her death, August, 1928. She was the
daughter of Robert McClung and sister of John ?????

Note: This record is from the John McClung (McC Gen p.68) who was a son of William
McClung and Euphemia Cunningham. John was born in Tennessee but his older siblings
were born in Wilkes County, Georgia. This family is from the PA group. William's father
was James McClung who was born in Ireland and settled on the Borden Grant in Augusta
Co., VA in 1742.
